I never used to be a breakfast person. I would drink my coffee until it’s lunchtime. But I started feeling very tired in the mornings - my mind was foggy, I needed more coffee to push through the mornings…sound familiar?

Then I finally understood what the phrase “breakfast is the most important meal of the day” means. What this is saying is that your first meal is the most important. My first meal was coffee!! Not nutritious at all.

Then I thought…well I don’t have time to make breakfast. I don’t even have time to..or want to make toast every morning. And buying breakfast every morning can add up.

I started making overnight oats…and wow… this one small habit has made a HUGE difference for me. I started getting way more energy in the morning and needing less coffee. I am now in a better mood and I don’t feel lethargic anymore. These overnight oats kickstarts my metabolism and sets my energy for the day. The best part — I can make multiple at once for the week and I don’t need to prepare anything in the morning! THE BEST convenient, healthy and delicious breakfast meal!

However, when I started making these, some recipes came out too grainy, others came out too watery. Some were too sweet and some were way too bland. After countless tries, I’ve finally refined this recipe. Check it out below! Hope you guys enjoy it!
