BBQ Beef Brisket

Ingredients

Protein

  • 3-4 lb beef brisket

Rub

  • 1 tbsp brown sugar

  • 2 tsp paprika powder

  • 2 tsp garlic powder

  • 2 tsp cumin powder

  • 2 tsp black pepper

  • 2 tsp salt

Marinade

  • 1 1/2 cups ketchup

  • 1/3 cup apple cider vinegar

  • 2 tbsp Worcestershire sauce

  • 1/2 cup brown sugar

  • 2 tsp garlic powder

  • 2 tsp mustard powder

  • 3/4 cup water

Directions

  1. Mix all the Rub ingredients in a small bowl and rub it all over the brisket.

  2. Mix all the Marinade ingredients into the pressure cooker pot.

  3. Add the rubbed brisket into the pot and flip it around a couple times to immerse it into the sauce.

  4. Pressure cook on high for 60 mins, with 15 mins natural release followed by quick release for the remaining pressure.

  5. [Optional] Broil, Sauté (pressure cooker option), or air-fry on high for 5 mins to get a nice outside crust.

  6. Slice brisket thinly and serve with the BBQ sauce.
